Rotor Wake Lead


Chris is a member of the Wind Energy Design and Experimentation Department at Sandia National Laboratories. He leads the Rotor Wake project for experimental testing of the NRT rotor and producing validation data for DOE multi-lab projects. He also leads the development of two new experiments at SWiFT involving active aerodynamics on blades. Chris was issued a patent for a small wake wind turbine blade design and enjoys studying innovative blade concepts like low induction rotors.
