Sandia’s marine researchers to host MASK Basin WEC Workshop Information Session

Join Sandia National Laboratories as it hosts the “WEC Design, Modeling, Control, and Testing Workshop Information Session,” Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. MT. During this informative session, you’ll learn what to expect at the in-person WEC workshop hosted by Sandia later this year.

The in-person workshop will take place Sept. 27-28, 2023, at the U.S. Navy’s Maneuvering and Seakeeping (MASK) Basin at the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock in Bethesda, Md. Researchers from Sandia National Laboratories will lead a two-day, hands-on course for engineers and students working in wave energy that will include test design, system identification, control design, and system co-design.
