Principal Member of Technical Staff
Biography
Brooke Marshall Garcia is a principal member of technical staff and technical project manager for the Resilient Energy and Distributed Systems Integration group. She is a licensed civil engineer with experience in water resource modeling and site planning. She has an advanced business degree in Policy and Planning. Both her BSCE (2001) and her MBA (2007) are from the University of New Mexico. She also has a Master of Science degree (2024) from Johns Hopkins University in Energy Policy and Climate. She has been a leader on the microgrid course design team, and a field facilitator for community outreach. Her research is focused on national energy transitions to increase resilience and achieve sustainability.
