He has been a member of the Wind Energy Department since July 2007, and has experience in electric power systems, including regulatory and policy issues and wind energy power systems integration research. Prior to joining Sandia, he worked for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as an expert witness in electric rate filings. Benjamin has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University, and was a registered Professional Engineer in New Mexico.
