I work with: Water Power Technologies
Ryan Coe, Ph.D., is a senior research engineer in the Water Power Technologies Program at Sandia National Laboratories. Ryan leads Sandia’s wave energy converter (WEC) research in the areas of device survival and control. His WEC survival research work includes components on numerical modeling, design response statistics, structural analysis, and environmental characterization. Within Sandia’s WEC dynamics and controls work, Ryan focuses on reduced-order modeling and experimental testing. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering and a doctorate in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech.
