Biography

Henry Guan is an Electrical Engineer in the Energy Storage Technologies and Systems department at Sandia National Laboratories. He is a member of the Demonstration Projects team and focuses on energy storage system applications and system deployments. Henry received a B.S and M.S in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and is a graduate of NMSU’s Electric Utility Management Program. Before joining the Energy Storage Technology and Systems department, Henry was the lead engineer for Sandia’s facilities high voltage electrical engineering team where he managed the engineering and operations for Sandia’s electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure systems. Prior to joining Sandia, Henry worked at the Public Service Company of New Mexico as an electrical engineer in the Transmission Planning department where he focused on power system modeling and performing grid studies using power flow and transient stability analysis. Henry holds a professional engineering license in the state of New Mexico.
