Biography

Ujjwol Tamrakar received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 2011, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University (SDSU), Brookings, SD, USA, in 2015. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from SDSU in 2020 and is currently working as a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM, USA. His research interests include grid integration of renewable energy systems, energy storage analytics, power system modeling and stability, and optimal control. Recently, he has been actively involved in various IEEE task forces related to voltage and frequency stability of power systems.
