Martin Jang

Postdoctoral Appointee

Martin Jang is a postdoctoral appointee in the Water Power Technologies Program at Sandia National Laboratories. His research includes characterizing tidal resources for hydrokinetic energy.

Martin received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering (hydraulics & hydrology) from Purdue University in 2009, and 2012, respectively. Martin received his PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2022, where his PhD work involved characterizing ocean eddies and tidal current profiles for renewable energy development.
