Biography

Todd Monson is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where for the past fifteen years his research has focused primarily on the synthesis and characterization of ferromagnetic and ferroelectric nanomaterials for energy related applications. Todd holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in physics from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to coming to Sandia, Todd served as a physicist in the Air Force for over seven years, working at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Munitions Directorate and serving as an assistant professor of physics at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Todd received his commission in the U.S. Air Force after graduating with a B.S. in physics from the U.S. Naval Academy.
