She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering and Ph.D. in Biological Design from Arizona State University in 2014 and 2019, respectively. She is a licensed Civil Engineer with experience in modeling the natural and built environment, including applications in municipal water and wastewater planning, regional groundwater assessment, agrochemical fate and transport, and wastewater-based epidemiology. Dr. Hart joined the Renewable Energy and Distributed System Integration group in 2022. She is involved in RDSI’s place-based work serving islanded, rural, and remote communities in their efforts towards energy resilience and renewable energy transitions. Her research interests include the development of tools for equity-focused integrated planning at local and national scales, and the resilience of community and infrastructure networks.
