Olis is a Member of the Technical Staff in the Electric Power Systems Research Department at Sandia National Laboratories. He holds a M.S.E.E. from Northeastern University focused on electric power systems and a B.S. in Physics from Pacific University. He is a Member of IEEE. Walker’s research involves energy storage analytics, valuing energy storage across the U.S. energy markets and the effects of extreme climates on battery energy storage performance and cost.
