Share Your Inclusive Energy Vision February 14, 2022 8:00 am Published by Admin U.S. Department of Energy unveils the Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) recently launched the Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize aimed at funding activities related to climate and clean energy that support, build trust, and strengthen relationships and partnerships with disadvantaged communities. As part of the effort, those working with the department were invited to share their vision for a just and equitable clean energy future. Inspired by the call, researchers studying climate and clean energy technologies at Sandia responded. Seeking to build a community of inspired innovators, the public is invited to record a brief message describing their vision for an equitable clean energy future. Learn how here. Specifically, the prize seeks to enable and enhance business and technology incubation, acceleration, and other community-based and university-based entrepreneurship and innovation in climate and clean energy technologies.
