New WPTO article highlights significant Sandia hydro, marine energy research in Alaska

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) has released “North to the Future: WPTO Helps Alaskan Partners Pursue a Clean Energy Future With Water Power,” the much-anticipated article featuring FY21 Alaska-based water power research projects. The projects were supported by Sandia National Laboratories’ Advanced Grid Modeling, Energy–Water Systems Integration, Renewable Energy and Distributed Systems Integration, and Water Power programs, as well as other national labs.
