Since 2010 he has worked in renewable energy technologies and has a background in electrical power systems and control. Since joining the department, he has worked on commissioning and troubleshooting prototype wind turbines, and developed safety documents, LOTO procedures and arc flash analyses. He is also involved in testing experimental blades, turbine sensors and Scada systems at the Scaled Wind Farm Technology Facility (SWiFT). Brandon received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Michigan Technological University.
