His current research interests include the verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification of wind farm computational models, atmospheric boundary layer simulations of different stability states, and high-fidelity modeling of wind turbines. Alan holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree and PhD in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
