Biography

Seongho Ahn, PhD, is a senior research engineer in the Water Power Technologies Program at Sandia National Laboratories. He has extensive experience with a wide range of ocean wave fields, including wave modeling, hindcasting, forecasting, extreme environmental analysis, wave climate changes, and wave energy development.

Prior to joining Sandia, Seongho received his PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his PhD work involved wave energy resource classification and numerical modeling of coastal circulations.
