Sandia Energy > Programs > Renewable Energy > Concentrating Solar Power > Staff > Margaret Gordon, Ph.D. Margaret Gordon Concentrating Solar Program Manager Dr. Margaret Gordon is the manager of Sandia National Laboratories’ Concentrating Solar Technologies Program at the National Solar Thermal Test Facility with a staff of over 25 engineers, scientists, technologists, and students. Margaret is a PhD inorganic chemist, who has 20 years of experience working in multiple programs across Sandia, most recently in solar photovoltaic research. She served as deputy director of the five-year, $30 million DuraMAT Consortium with NREL, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and is now the Sandia lead for NREL’s HelioCon Heliostat Consortium, a DOE-SETO funded five-year consortium.
