Albuquerque to host 2020 SolarPACES Conference October 9, 2019 5:05 pm Published by Kelly Sullivan The U.S. Department of Energy recently announced the 2020 SolarPACES conference will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Conference-goers will have the opportunity to visit Sandia National Laboratories’ National Solar Thermal Test Facility and the Solana Concentrating Power Plant in Gila Bend, AZ. Under the International Energy Agency (IEA) Technology Collaboration Programme, SolarPACES coordinates and conducts research, as well as hosts the annual SolarPACES conference, the world’s biggest conference for Concentrating Solar Power and Chemical Energy Systems.
