Elizabeth Palmiotti, PhD

Photovoltaics Materials Characterization Scientist / Engineer, Postdoctoral Appointee

Elizabeth Palmiotti is a postdoctoral appointee in the Photovoltaics and Materials Technology Program at Sandia National Laboratories. In her dissertation, she developed and studied novel metal halide vapor treatments to reduce deposition costs for Cu(In,Ga)Se2 thin films used in photovoltaic applications.

She received her bachelor’s in metallurgical and materials engineering, master’s in materials science, and PhD in materials science from the Colorado School of Mines.
