Sandia’s Concentrating Solar Power program to host molten salts seminar July 14, 2021 2:30 pm Published by Kelly Sullivan Sandia National Laboratories’ Concentrating Solar Power program will host the first in a new series of seminars online, “Molten salts: A cross cutting technology for energy storage and transfer,” on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Prof. Mark Anderson from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Department of Mechanical Engineering will present on why molten salts are being considered for applications with regard to high-temperature energy generation, storage, heat transfer, and industrial high-temperature/processing applications that could be linked to renewable sources. You can join the meeting and/or contact Ben Jackson with questions or for an invite. Tags: Concentrating Solar Power, Molten Salts, Seminar, Solar Research « Previous Next »
