Join Sandia at the AGU 2019 Fall Meeting

As the Arctic ice sheet melts and the permafrost thaws, researchers from Sandia National Laboratories continue to carefully monitor conditions there. On Monday, Dec. 9th, Sandia’s Arctic researchers will present talks and posters.

These topics and more will be the subject of posters and interdisciplinary sessions that include Sandia researchers and collaborators at the American Geophysical Union’s 2019 Fall Meeting. From Monday, Dec. 9 to Friday, Dec. 13 in San Francisco, Sandia researchers will be present to share research findings spanning fundamental and applied sciences in an interdisciplinary setting.

That includes talks and posters from Sandia’s Arctic researchers, who have been working on the North Slope of Alaska for more than 20 years. Sandia’s Arctic research provides science, applied research, and technology for local and global arctic challenges.
