The ninth annual PV Reliability Workshop will be held February 27 to March 1 in Lakewood Colorado, near the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) campus. The event, hosted by NREL in partnership with Sandia and Brookhaven National Laboratory, provides the opportunity for solar technology experts to share information towards improved PV module reliability. Improved reliability reduces the cost of solar technology, which encourages investor confidence, reduces its cost, and—in turn—encourages its use.
The workshop includes sessions on standards, soiling, the stability and reliability of high efficiency modules, and other PV topics. Presenters include Joshua Stein, from Sandia, who will report on PV Lifetime results. A draft agenda is available on the Workshop site.
Registration is available here. Attendees can register before early February for a reduced price.
