He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of ViÃ§osa, Brazil, in 2014, and his MS and PhD degrees from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and 2020, respectively. His research interests include power quality, renewable energy integration, energy storage, data analytics, optimization, and machine learning.
