Researchers from Sandia and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will present an instructional webinar on the WEC Design Response Toolbox (WDRT) on June 14 from 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m. MST. During the webinar, these researchers will provide an overview of the toolbox, work through examples, and respond to questions.

The WDRT was developed by Sandia and NREL to provide extreme response and fatigue analysis tools, specifically for design analysis of ocean structures such as wave energy converters (WECs). The toolbox includes code modules for environmental characterization, extreme response analysis, fatigue analysis, and high-fidelity modeling of focused wave composition.

Long term complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) in the WDRT.
