A new website dedicated to Sandia’s Energy/Water efforts is now live and available to view. The site provides a program overview, examples of the program’s work, and even access to research, data, models, and decision support tools that address water supply challenges faced by the US. Focus areas include water treatment, data modeling and analysis, and water security. Visitors can also view awards, patents, partnerships, and publications related to Sandia’s Energy/Water research.

As stated on the website, Sandia’s Energy/Water program strives to:

  • increase the safety, security, and sustainability of water infrastructure through the development of advanced technologies that create new water supplies,
  • decrease demand through efficient water use, and
  • provide decision-making tools to the institutions responsible for balancing supply and demand.
