Stationary energy safety, security, reliability, and resiliency.

Renewable and nuclear energy are the centerpieces of zero-carbon contributions to a low-carbon US stationary power system. The emerging system is increasingly heterogeneous, including both base-load from traditional low- and zero-carbon sources (natural gas and nuclear) and distributed and intermittent renewable sources. In order to effectively support the nation’s needs, this system must be safe, secure, reliable, and resilient.
