Energy and Climate

Hosted by Sandia National Laboratories and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)

Inverter reliability drives project life cycle costs and plant performance. This workshop focused on current reliability issues and developed a draft roadmap to define the gaps and the path forward for inverter reliability.  Topics of discussion included O&M and system impacts, component reliability, thermal management, module-scale conversion and developing standards for next generation technologies. Information was conveyed through case studies and breakout session ideation.

Please feel free to access the workshop’s agenda and associated proceedings via this web page. We encourage continued interaction on this important subject matter area and look forward to potentially convening similar workshops in the future.
