A secure and sustainable energy future (SSEF) is of paramount importance to US national security and sustained economic prosperity. The SSEF Mission Area (MA) strategy was developed to describe how Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) intends to use its capability-based Foundation and strategic partnerships with other national laboratories, academia, and the private sector to drive the realization of a secure and sustainable energy future for the United States.
