He’s backing his bet with significant resources, offering some of the Department’s world leading supercomputers for use by industry leaders.”
The purpose of this workshop is to turn the Secretary’s word into actions.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2013 the U.S. Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratories, and Texas Tech University will host the commissioning of the Scaled Wind Farm Technology (SWiFT) Facility at the Reese Technology Center in Lubbock, Texas. The SWiFT Facility is designed and built to enable rapid, cost-efficient testing and development of transformative wind energy technology with specific emphasis on improving wind plant performance.
